Description:PCMS, an internationally based technology company with North American headquarters, is searching for a Staff Accountant to join their team. You will report to a dynamic Controller and be part of an energetic accounting team.

You will be responsible for ensuring timely completion of all general accounting functions, various reports, and special projects. PCMS is located in the Tri-County area. Responsibilities:
• Prepare service and product invoices, review customer contracts and purchase orders to ensure billing rates are correct and revenue is being recognized accurately.
• Prepare and file Sales, CAT and Use Tax returns
• Manage Accounts Receivables. Communicate with sales department to ensure timely payment of customer invoices.
• Prepare monthly salespersons’ commission reports.
• Ensure accuracy of general ledger account balances by preparing monthly balance sheet and expense reconciliations.
• Maintain fixed asset records.
• Prepare various financial and managerial reports.
• Interact with external auditors, vendors, customers and consultants.
• Assist on annual financial audit, tax compliance & special projects as identified.
• Coordinate timely filing of employees' expenses through Concur system.

Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance.
• Great Plains / Microsoft Dynamics experience preferred
• Minimum of 3 to 6 years of accounting experience
• Possess a complete understanding of the accounting process and how the income statement and balance sheet interrelate. Should also possess an understanding of the business cycle and how various business processes effect income and balance sheet items.
• Strong interpersonal skills in order to interact with employees from other departments as well as employees above and below the direct chain of command.
• Strong understanding of GAAP with solid accounting background.
• Excellent planning, analytical, interpersonal and communication skills
• Attention to detail and extremely organized with the ability to meet deadlines.
• Confident self-starter with the ability to work with minimal direction.
