The VISION Commerce Suite portfolio of unified commerce solutions is designed to serve all retail verticals, in any format and in any geographic location. VISION Commerce Suite helps engage retail shoppers more effectively and supports the management and operational control of the retail enterprise. PCMS solutions are used by 140+ retailers, in more than 57 countries, on over 250,000 selling points.
Due to company growth, PCMS is expanding their accounting group to include a staff accountant. This person will be assist the Finance Director with day to day accounting activities.
|Duties:||Perform month end closing procedures.|
Ensure accuracy of general ledger account balances by preparing monthly balance sheet and expense reconciliation.
Prepare and file Sales, CAT and Use Tax returns (multi-state).
Maintain fixed asset records.
Coordinate timely processing / approval of employees' expenses through Concur system.
Hands on bi-monthly salaried payroll processing (multi-state); research and resolve payroll questions and issues.
Interact with external auditors, vendors, customers and consultants.
Assist on annual financial audit, tax compliance & special projects as identified.
Complete all Accounts Payable, including month end reports. Implement and update process in the Accounts Payable department.
Assist the Human Resources Director with tasks related to new employee hiring, benefits, government reporting.
Other duties as assigned.
|Qualifications:||Requires a Bachelorís degree in Accounting or Finance.|
Requires a strong understanding of GAAP with solid accounting background.
Requires at least 5+ years of professional accounting experience.
Requires basic understanding of business, including familiarity with financial statements.
Requires knowledge of ERP software packages.
Requires the ability to handle confidential documents and information with discretion.
Requires experience with PayCor and Concur systems.
Requires Microsoft Dynamics experience.
Requires a working knowledge of PCMS products and services or the ability to quickly develop a working knowledge of PCMS products and services.
Requires effective oral and written communication skills, and excellent interpersonal skills. Must be able to communicate and interact well with coworkers.
Requires a strategic thinker who can deliver elegant solutions in a fast paced environment.
Requires the demonstrated ability to build trust and strong cross-functional relationships across the company to achieve common goals.
