Description:PCMS, an internationally based technology company, headquartered in Cincinnati, is searching for a motivated entry level Staff Accountant to join our corporate team. This individual will report directly to the Corporate Controller and will be part of a growing and energetic accounting team.

Duties:• Prepare service and product invoices, review customer contracts and purchase orders to ensure billing rates are correct and revenue is being recognized accurately.

• Perform month end closing procedures, including account reconciliations and account analysis.

• Prepare and file Sales, CAT and Use Tax returns.

• Prepare monthly salespersons’ commission reports.

• Maintain fixed asset records.

• Interact with external auditors, vendors, customers and consultants.

• Assist on annual financial audit, tax compliance & special projects as identified.

• Coordinate timely filing of employees' expenses through Concur system.

• Perform cash application. Assist in some cash collections efforts.

• Assist the Human Resources department with data entry tasks related to new employee hiring, benefits, government reporting and other tasks as needed.

• Other duties as designated by management.
Qualifications:• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance.

• Strong understanding of GAAP with solid accounting background.

• Basic understanding of business, including familiarity with financial statements.

• Knowledge of ERP software packages.

• High level of proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite of software applications.

• High level of attention to detail and accuracy.

• Excellent verbal and written English language skills.

• Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with internal and external customers.

• Ability to react quickly and adapt to changes in priorities, circumstances and direction.

• Great Plains / Microsoft Dynamics experience a plus.
