PCMS is seeking a Quality Assurance Manager. The Business Analyst will perform the following duties and responsibilities:


Duties:• Lead the Quality Assurance team to develop, establish, and execute quality assurance measures and testing standards for applications, products and/or enhancements to existing Products
• Coach and Mentor the QA team and help drive the department career paths in alignment with the department and company goals.
• Translates PCMS’ missions and visions so they can be applied to everyday life in the QA department
• Ensure that the QA department helps to drive the success of PCMS
• The person for this role must have an ongoing commitment to process improvement including identifying and introducing new tools and technologies for Quality Assurance professionals.
• Validate quality processes by establishing product specifications and quality attributes; measuring production; documenting evidence; determining operational and performance qualification; writing and updating quality assurance procedures.
• Expand repeatable and automated testing processes that drives improving quality throughout the delivery process
• Train and coach Quality Assurance team members in the appropriate application of recognized methods, such as:

• Quality Principles and Concepts
• Test protocol management
• Scenario creation
• Quality Baselines & Metrics
• Target date management
• Estimate creation
• Performance measurement
• Quality Assurance
• Requirement and design management
• Quality and Test Planning
• Software Testing Principles and Concepts

Minimum Requirements:

• 4-year degree from an accredited college or university or equivalent experience
• 5+ years of Quality Assurance experience managing software development projects
• 2 years exposure to databases and SQL
• Well-defined understanding and working knowledge of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC)
• Excellent Quality Assurance/Testing skills
• Ability to read and modify XML (or to have knowledge of XML elements)
• At least 3 years of experience operating in a leadership position with excellent leadership skills including the ability to mentor and coach associates to success
• Effectively managed and dealt with employee related matters
• Successfully identified and created career paths and succession plans
• Demonstrated ability to identify, develop and implement process improvement initiatives and lead employees through the changes implemented.
• Cultural awareness that translates well when communicating and working with global partners and employees
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills and able to work both with technology and business leadership and the ability to build strong relationships within all levels of an organization
• Well-developed analytical and problem solving skills
• Ability to multi-task effectively across several projects and assignments
• Possess or able to attain a valid passport
• Must be able to travel (some international travel may be required)
• Background in Retail and/or Point of Sale knowledge preferred
• Certifications Preferred: CTFL, CSQE, CSTP, CSQA or CSTE



Responsibilities:
• Communicate with business counterpart to identify and document requirements.

• Create functional specifications to meet customer requirements.

• Obtain product knowledge and lead the client implementation to best leverage product capabilities.

• Coordinate business department with technical teams to resolve issues.


Job Requirements:
• College degree OR equivalent retail experience

• 2+ years of experience of business analysis, familiar with requirement gathering for application development

• Exceptional communication skills in both verbal and written form

• Proven coordination and problem solving skills

• Ability of gaining knowledge quickly in unfamiliar areas.

• Computer Skills: Outlook, MS Word, MS Excel, MS Visio

• Candidates must have a legal right to work in the United States

• Must possess or be able to obtain a valid passport

• Must be able to travel internationally – approximately 25%


Preferred skills/experience:
• Retail service experience with store manager level responsibilities (highly desired)
• Extensive exposure to POS or related retail software applications
• General knowledge of application development life cycle
• Client Management skills. Experience with demanding client environment
• Use Case document
• Deal with issues calmly with an upbeat personality.
• Computer Skills: MS Visio, MS Project
• Experience with Agile development
