The role

As the Scrum Master, you will inspire and empower collaborative teams to deliver highly scalable software for the PCMS retail solution. The ideal Scrum Master is passionate about Agile and thrives in enabling teams to perform at their best by leveraging Agile best practices. You will be working directly with the development team to deliver into our product or directly to clients.
Duties:- Coaching, teaching, and assisting the team in understanding the Agile framework.
- Work with the development team and product owner to execute assigned projects.
- Organize and facilitate daily stand-ups, sprint planning and retrospectives.
- Update, maintain, and track work progress on the team’s Scrum board.
- Create an environment in which the team is continuously learning from the past.
- Work with the team to refine the backlog in preparation for future sprints.
- Facilitate discussions and drive resolution to issues.
- Track team work progress ensuring delivery commitments are achieved.
- Break down barriers and shield the development team from impediments to ensure progress against sprints and deadlines.
- Manage and track team velocity and other productivity metrics.
- Apply a sense of urgency, commitment and focus on delivering value in a timely fashion.
- Follows the identified company policies and practices as outlined in the Employee Handbook.
- Other duties as assigned or required.

Qualifications:- Requires a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field and a preferred Scrum Master certification.
- Requires 3+ years of Scrum Master or similar experience in a software development environment.
- Requires a strong working knowledge of Agile methodology and best practices.
- Requires the demonstrated ability to build trust and strong cross-functional relationships across the company to achieve common goals.
- Requires computer literacy, including Microsoft Office programs.
- Requires the ability to possess or be able to obtain a valid passport.
- Requires a working knowledge of PCMS products and services or the ability to quickly develop a working knowledge of PCMS products and services.
- Requires high motivation to ensure smooth delivery of difficult and complex projects for both the customer and PCMS.
- Requires innovation to create and recognize creative solutions based on reasonable assumptions and factual information. Thinks “outside of the box” within their own area of responsibility.
- Requires strong technical awareness and the ability to understand the reasoning and implications of technical decisions.
- Requires experience working in a complex organization with an appreciation of how the dynamics of growth affect corporate culture and in-place processes and systems.
- Requires effective oral and written communication skills, and excellent interpersonal skills. Must be able to communicate and interact well with coworkers and customers.
- Requires a strategic thinker who can deliver elegant solutions in a fast paced environment.
- Requires the demonstrated ability to build trust and strong cross-functional relationships across the company to achieve common goals.
- Requires a goal-oriented and driven attitude with a superior ability to execute and sustain a high sense of urgency.
- Requires excellent memory, organizational ability, and the ability to set priorities, handle multiple responsibilities and meet deadlines.
- Requires strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Requires advanced computer literacy, including all Microsoft Office programs.
- Requires a valid driver’s license, the ability to operate a motor vehicle, and travel.
- Requires the ability to consistently demonstrate success related to the PCMS Core Competencies, including Job Knowledge, Work Quality, Customer Relations, Interpersonal Skills, Innovation, Initiative, Leadership and Engagement.

Work Environment and Physical Requirements:
This position may require frequent travel, including internationally. Work is performed in an office setting with frequent interruptions. This position requires the ability to sit or stand at a workstation for extended periods of time. Requires the ability to occasionally lift, carry and configure computer workstation class hardware that might weigh approximately 35 pounds. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.
